James Bond 1967 & Johnny West Custom Koi the Panther

Spy movies and spy TV shows were part of the 1960's and Aurora made a couple of kits featuring the Man from U.N.C.L.E. characters as well as that most popular of movie spies, James Bond.  A fun little kit.  I wish it fit together a little better with the Odd Job kit.

Koi the Panther

This figure came from a TV show.  My wife Edith and I were watching a western and we saw an outlaw gang and I said, wow, I don't have an Indian with a top hat.  Hobby Lobby had a top hat that pretty much fits and the show was on DVD or Netflix or something so I was able to freeze frame it and this guy was wearing a black vest and a cream neckerchief and...well, you get the idea.  I didn't have a name for the guy and I mentioned this at work and a girl named Hilary I work with said "Can I name him?" and I said sure and she came up with Koi, which she says is Choctaw for Panther.  When she sees him on this blog it will be her first view of him because I don't take my figures to work with me.  Although, I will confess I have shown Tom Heaton's book around a bit over the years.  I hope she is pleased with the figure she named.
