Monster Scenes Vampirella 1971 and Captain Scarlet kits

Heroine of Warren Magazines, Vampirella burst onto the scene in 1969 in her own title.  Warren published Famous Monsters of Filmland which was all about, well, the monsters of the movies.  They had a couple of anthology magazines already, Creepy and Eerie.  These were magazine size and put on the "real" rack, not a comic rack.  That was how Jim Warren avoided the Comics Code Authority which established standards guaranteeing all comics with the seal were good, wholesome entertainment.  I will admit Vampirella looked good, but I kind of have to draw the line at wholesome.  Vampi was only featured in one short story per issue, with the rest of the magazine being rounded out by Warren's usual horror story fare.

While the kit did not truly look like the awesome art it was based on, it was still a really nice kit.

Angel Interceptor and Spectrum Pursuit Vehicle from the 1968 TV series Captain Scarlet and the Mysterions.  Really old Airfix kits.
