Gruesome Goodies is a good set. What keeps it from being a great set, in my opinion? Lack of a floor. The set should have come with a little more floor to help expand the scene. OK, maybe the set verges on great. But it would have been nice to have more floor. Just sayin. And this set introduced the star of the entire Monster Scenes line, the Sabre-Tooth Rabbit. Once you start building the set, you will also notice it is not just any Sabre-Tooth Rabbit, it is the head of a Sabre-Tooth Rabbit grafted to the body of a cat. How awesome is that?

And the second section:
While I am deciding what to put in this section now that I have put all the Johnny West stuff in here, I am going to feature a few "non-series" model kits. First up, Mr. Spock from 1972. AMT and Aurora had a deal where Aurora licensed the molds to release the Star Trek kits outside the US. Aurora designed an released the Mr Spock kit outside the United States and following up with their agreements AMT released the kit in the US the next year.
