Monster Scenes Frankenstein 1971 & Johnny West Custom LR Prospector

Ah, the monster which made it into every line of Aurora kits.  This time around, I will admit he is a bit...clunky.  Something about the size of everything so he can stand unaided makes him look a bit off, to me.  That being said, I could not resist having a bit of fun with this one and, remembering the original ad which caught my attention (This is New York) I put him in an I love NY shirt.

Johnny West Corner

Albert Lohmire the Prospector

In the TV series starring Clayton Moore and Jay Silverheels, the Lone Ranger often disguised himself as a white bearded prospector to get the goods on the bad guys or to be able to move around without giving himself away as...well...himself.

This was a great looking set originally, and it would not break my heart to find a loose mule for a reasonable price.  I work on this set off and on.  Most recently I added the campfire logs.  Now I am waiting on Christmas so I can find some colored cellophane to make some fire on those logs.  This set just really never ends.  There is always something else you can add to it.  Odd to me how I didn't really want to make this one when I first saw the set, but it kinda grew on me and now it is one of my favorite sets.  I also found a use for the F-Troop hat all the cavalrymen came with but no one wants to actually use.
